Narrowing Your Choices Based on Your Personal   Decision To Change Your Life

For the most part, starting your own business can become a long list of reasons that you think will provide for your personal needs and wants. The icing on the cake is that your list is coated with happiness and satisfaction. According to Our World In Data, people say they are ‘very satisfied’ or ‘fairly satisfied’ with their life.

In a 2007 survey in Greece, 67% of those surveyed said they were satisfied with their life. Until the financial crisis five years later, the figure was then down to 32.4%.  Of course, there are other such reports – like the World Happiness Report of 2019. Those statistics claim that the most satisfied country was Finland, followed by Denmark, Norway, Iceland, and the Netherlands. The United States ranked #19 with an average score of 6.9 (out of 10), down from #18 the previous year. At Artistic Harmonies Association, we believe starting a business in the art world can increase your happiness and satisfaction in life.

If you do the research, you will find that your personal needs and wants must be quantified to achieve your ultimate objective for happiness and satisfaction.  To do this, you have some figuring to do. Let me rephrase that, “you have a lot of figuring to do!” What you have to do is ask (JohnAha@jonznet.net), and I will send you a free guide (I know, many sites say “free,” but I mean it!) to get your business model started. Just keep in mind that when starting a business, especially in art, there is a process. There are steps involved. There is a proven path. It takes you and your commitment to persist without exception. Needs and wants, and happiness and satisfaction will result. I have an assignment for you now…

The number of reasons to start a business in the art world can number in the 10s of 100s. Happiness and satisfaction are based on your personal decision to change. Remember we talked about your “Why” in a previous blog post? Here are just a few reasons to start an art business… then contact me and tell me your reasons. Examples in no particular order or priority: It’s in your blood; pursue your passion; find others with similar interests; experience freedom (financial and lifestyle); take ownership of your career; to find inspiration, or be inspired; to stretch your creative potential – the list grows longer with each thought.

It is worth repeating. AHA will be presenting business development from several perspectives – concept, research, planning, implementation, and growth goals. We will start from scratch, similar to mixing pigments while expecting quality results, by using business stages in an organic and inorganic manner. It takes into consideration start-ups, early growth, and maturing cycles.
